When’s the last time you checked on the age of your water heater? Are you certain that the shut off valves for your sinks and your toilets work if you need them? Can you be sure that your sump pump is going to work reliably the next time there is heavy rainfall?
All of these questions, and many more, are addressed in an annual plumbing inspection. Here at Trident Plumbing we have a 52 point inspection that we perform for all of our VIP Service Members, as well as any customer that schedules an inspection appointment. The plumbing throughout your home is something that you use every single day, and likely take for granted that it will work without fail. Plumbing issues don’t always happen often, and most of your plumbing is designed to work for years without much maintenance. However, when things go wrong they can come up suddenly and without much warning.
However, it is possible to avoid being caught off guard by many plumbing issues when a licensed plumber thoroughly inspects all of the visible pipes, appliances, pumps, valves, toilets, faucets, etc. When you know your water heater is aging towards the end of it’s lifespan, you can begin to plan for a replacement instead of being caught off guard without hot water. Or if we find a shut off valve that no longer functions, we can replace it before there is a leak and you really need that valve to work.
